Bacon Wrapped Peaches are probably one of my favorite summer eats! It’s so simple, yet so decadent, almost like foie gras.
Soak the toothpicks in water.
Cut peaches in half and remove pit
Place chopped green onions in each peach half
For every peach take two pieces of bacon and wrap the peach with bacon.
Take a soaked toothpicks and secure bacon with toothpick(s)
Meanwhile preheat grill or cast iron skillet with olive oil. If you are using a grill you don't need olive oil.
Place peaches in skillet or on grill and cook till bacon is crispy. Rotate peaches till bacon is nice a crispy or if you are like me... burnt.
Voila! Enjoy as a side dish or the main course
