Roasted Whole Branzino

This recipe is so stupid easy, but your friends or hot date are gonna think you are a cooking God. Seriously folks, this dish is a great way to impress someone.

The Roasted Branzino goes great with a Baked Potato or Gnocchi and your favorite white wine!

  • 1 Whole Branzino, 1-2 pounds gutted and cleaned. Don't be a wuss, keep the head on, there is some good meat on the cheeks.
  • Olive Oil
  • Lemon
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic Powder

Heat oven to 425 degrees

Place fish in baking pan lined with foil.

Pat the fish dry with paper towels.

Generously salt, pepper and garlic powder the shit out of the fish, inside and outside. (I mean don't go crazy, but you want the fish to be well seasoned.)

Drizzle olive oil all over the outside and inside of the fish.

Slice the lemon up and place about half of it inside the fish. Save the other half.

Throw that fish in the oven! Roast 15 mins on one side and 15 mins on the other.

Voila the Branzino is done! Serve with the leftover lemon slices.
